It would be tough to overstate what a great summer this has been for U.S. Women’s National Team defender Kelley O’Hara. The former Brooklynite who hails from Georgia won her second World Cup as a member of the USWNT. O’Hara and her teammates flew from France to New York, where the team received the key to the city.
Serena Williams Bozoma Saint John are two women that are consistently leaving behind positive footprints in the world. As a world-class champion athlete and a successful entrepreneur and CMO- both women have climbed the ladder of success through hard work, dedication, perseverance and more importantly remaining authentically themselves. Dove Men+Care’s newest sportcare range has some pretty big names involved, but they don’t have the most familiar faces. They’re new group of spokesmen carry the last names Paul, Williams, and Suarez– not the pro athletes, but still inspirational athletes in their own communities. The new campaign is being announced by ESPN reporter Kevin Negandhi, who was enthusiastic to work alongside everyday athletes versus the pros he works with on the daily.
The annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day powered by Net Generation celebrated the start of the U.S. Open with a full-day tennis and music festival for families on Saturday, August 24th. This year, for the first time courtesy of the USTA Foundation, general admission promenade seats for the concert were free of charge.
The annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day kicked off the U.S. Open on Saturday with family-friendly fun and celebrity performances at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, Queens. After demonstrations from Net Generation and National Junior Tennis League participants, the Radio Disney-hosted musical acts began, with leading talent like Ava Max, MAX, and Quinn XCII performing to a cheering audience.

The ESPY’s were kicked off by the 15th annual “The Golf Classic” with Malbon Golf. Dosist and Hublot. The Knockturnal was able to attend this celebrity studded charity golf event at Calabasas Country Club on July 8, 2019. The Golf Classic had only recently relocated to Los Angeles after being a renowned staple in the Hamptons. What a better place to call home than this 18-hole championship-style course nestled in the hills of Calabasas.
