Created in collaboration with the world renowned Ammon Carver, L’ANZA brings to market their new Healing Colorcare Collection.
The collection features the L’ANZA Color Preserving Shampoo, L’ANZA Color Guard Hair Protector Spray, L’ANZA Color Illuminator Hair Brightening Spray, and L’ANZA Trauma Treatment.
Bill Topolinski, Vice President of Research and Product Development for L’ANZA, described the Healing Colorcare Collection as:

Our new proprietary formula gives hair a new lease on life, by optimizing color pigment reflection via innovative technology that mimics and projects hair color from deep within the cortex. It’s important to remember that the way hair reflects light will determine how healthy and dimensional it will appear.”
Earlier last week, I got the chance to visit the Ammon Carver Studio in Chelsea to try the Healing Colorcare Collection for myself. After discussing my options over with Ammon and his team, we decided to give my hair a new look by going for balayage. The first thing I noticed about the L’ANZA Color Preserving Shampoo was it’s smell; you could easily pick up on the hints of white gardenia, rose, and green orchid.
The Collection is easy to use:
- First, before getting your hair wet, spray dry hair with L’ANZA Color Guard. The Hair Protector Spray protects hair from water induced damage. Nearly 70% of hair color fading is due to constant exposure of colored hair to water. Color Guard protects hair from fading due to water and oxidizing chemicals present in hair color. It’s a multi use product that can be used after shampooing to towel dry hair to provide UV protection.
- Continue with the L’ANZA Color Preserving Shampoo which contains the Keratin Healing System.
- Apply the L’ANZA Trauma Treatment to towel dry hair to serve as a Leave in Conditioner. The Treatment contains FLower Shield Complex which contains natural elements from flowers to provide maximum color protection. Continue to style hair with your favorite heating products stress free for the Treatment also provides thermal protection.
- Finish with the L’ANZA Color Illuminator once hair is dried. This was one of my favorite steps! The Color Illuminator have my hair amazing shine while not weighing it down. My hair tends to get pretty oily but I was incredibly impressed with the lightweight formula.
After my salon visit, I tried out the line at home and was impressed with how incredibly easy it was to use. Best of all the L’ANZA Colorcare collection is guilt free. All L’ANZA products are environmentally friendly and cruelty free.
