Directed by, written by, and starring Nate Parker comes the depiction of Nat Turner’s 1831 slave rebellion throughout Virginian plantations. Not only is this the actor’s first feature length debut but also his sharp insight shows in the jab taken by adopting the title of D.W. Griffith’s racist film. Joining him in the movie will be Armie Hammer, Gabrielle Union, and Aja Naomi King.
