Releasing December 5, is the final installment of John Geiger’s Misplaced Check sneaker.
Crafted from Nike’s original AF1 high-top silhouette, Geiger has created four of his own uniquely designed versions of the sneaker. Each sneaker embodies the beauty of utilizing different materials, also animal and reptile skins in shape of the signature Nike check overlapping on each side of the shoe. Geiger collaborated on all pairs of the Misplaced Checks with The Shoe Surgeon, who exclusively made each sneaker. This Friday’s release will be an all black pair, consisting of: Gloss crocodile, Horween nubuck, Ecco woven, ostrich quill, patent leather, diamond embossed lizard, pony hair, perforated goat, buffalo, shark, gloss python, suede, and smooth Horween. Including this all black design of the Misplaced Checks, Geiger has also released white, black, and all red pairs of the sneaker. Each colorway has consisted of it’s own unique arrangement of materials used with multiple checks placed on each side of the shoe. As past releases, this Fridays pair will have a limited number released online and Geiger also teamed up with Refresh PGH, a consignment shop in his hometown Pittsburgh, where the shoe will also reveal for purchase.
