Brooklyn got a taste of the tropics Thursday night as Jim Beam Pineapple brought Pineapple Beach to Fini Patio Bar for an evening of cocktails, music and a little debate over whether pineapple belongs on pizza.
Despite some rain, the party moved inside, where DJ duo Coco & Breezy had the room moving with their Caribbean-inspired sounds. Guests enjoyed Jim Beam Pineapple cocktails and the limited-edition Jim Beam x Fini Pineapple Honey White Pizza.
Jim Beam had one hell of a guest list. I connected with creatives and familiar faces throughout the evening, including Prince Canerio, whose energy was infectious. We talked about remaining grounded while continuing to elevate. I also ran into Ike Slimster, whom I first met at CultureCon Café earlier this year.
Ooreofe Oluwadara, entrepreneur and menswear creative, caught my eye in a dapper pink look. I complimented his sense of expression and joy and had to ask for a photo.
I also connected with actress Oumou Fofana, M.A., whose journalism background and experiences offered a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. Bryce Anthony, a Brooklyn esthetician focused on acne and pigmentation, also caught my interest especially after complimenting my skin. I may have found something worth checking out!
A night of networking, natural connections and good energy. Thank you, Jim Beam, for the pizza, music and a great night out.
