DuJour Magazine hosted Jason Derulo at the reputable Avenue Club on 10th avenue.
The event was presented by Elite Daily, InList, Invicta & Trent Fraser. Dressed in an all black attire with a very stylish blazer to match, Jason Derulo arrived about half past 9 and immediately took the red carpet. It’s no surprise how stylish he looked though as he describes his style as slick, grown and sexy. He also admits it’s changed within the past year.
He took pictures with the founder of DuJour Media, Jason Binn, and Editor-In-Chief, Nicole Vecchiarelli. He conducted interviews with other press present and by this time, the show was ready to begin. He then mixed with the crowd, took pictures and greeted people as he made his way to his table with his entourage. The crowd was elated to say the least. There was so much excitement filled in the room as the DJ dished out hits after hits, old and new.
Shortly after, Jason Binn took the stage and announced it was time for Jason Derulo to take the stage but not before we gave our best chant. The guests were happy to do so and in no time, Jason Derulo made his way to the stage to perform a few of his hits. He performed the chart topping “Want To Want Me”, which he credited as being the first song he ever recorded for his album, Everything is 4 as well as the 2014 hit singles from his Talk Dirty album, “Wiggle” and “Talk Dirty.” The crowd sang along with him. He went ahead and performed “Trumpets” before ending his set with an introduction of his new single “Try Me” featuring the very talented Jennifer Lopez. On what to expect from the video, he tells us, a “sexy dance video!” Well, we can’t wait, Jason!
