Barry Sternlicht, Chariman and CEO of Starwood Capital Group, celebrated the grand opening of his mission-driven brand with an exclusive, invite-only on Tuesday night.

Nestled at the base of the Hollywood Hills, with sweeping and dramatic views from Downtown to Santa Monica, 1 Hotel West Hollywood draws inspirations from the land, sun and abundant sunshine of Southern California.

Guests were treated to a smorgasbord of epicurean delights — from sushi and sashimi to lamb and dessert. The celebrations continued throughout the night with a welcoming speech by Barry Sternlicht before a special performance by Lola Lennox, the eldest daughter of music royalty Annie Lennox. Lola performed several covers with her mother in the front row cheering her on.

The sustainable hotel is sure to become one of Los Angeles’ most sought after Instagram spots.
