Things turned up to a level of ultimate bliss when Jake Connelly made a special appearance at Raising Cane’s in Plano, Texas.
Dipping into the famed “shift” experience, America’s favorite place for Chicken Fingers scripted out a day with the Netflix star that was not soon to be forgotten. Hundreds of fans waited to see “Delightful Derek” up close and out of the Upside Down at the Texas restaurant.

The young actor spoke to the crowd alongside founder Todd Graves to thank them for attending the event. The screams were loud and joyful for Connelly who took the stage and announced his love for performing is as big as his love for Raising Cane’s.

During his “shift,” Connelly trained side by side with Graves to learn what it takes to be part of the Cane’s Crew. He stepped behind the counter and in the Drive-Thru to serve lucky customers, capping off the afternoon by thanking a crowd of hundreds of cheering fans.
“I’ve always loved Cane’s since they opened up a couple of years ago in my hometown back in Chicago,” Connelly told reporters in between shooting his new spot for the Restaurant. “It has just been so exciting for me to be here today.”

After also shooting ads for the Brand, he spoke to press and explained his thrill for being a part of a new campaign. Connelly’s love for being in front of the camera was evident as was his passion for sharing the secret sauce with fans on his newfound fame that is as big as his love for Raising Cane’s.

“We have a really young fan base at Cane’s and Caniacs. Jake is really tied into that younger group,” Graves stated on why the actor is a perfect ambassador. “It has to be someone who is a great person. And Jake is a great young man.”
