The Italian Trade Agency hosted a celebratory runway show to display the creative work of Italian fashion designers.
The Italian Trade Agency charmingly transported us to Italy with its fashion presentation. The brand’s headquarters were festively covered with greenery and had blooming roses on its two balconies, as the building proudly hung its Italian and European Union flags. Fittingly, we were also greeted with three adorable Vespas up front, which served as the perfect photo-op before heading inside. The magic then continued, as we entered a mystical hall that was also covered in floor-to-ceiling greenery, with a gorgeous hanging crystal chandelier at the center.

We grabbed a refreshing Aperol Spritz and delicious Italian chocolates, as we listened to live music by talented violinist, Rebecca Cherry. The models strutted down the red carpet and concluded their walk at a lovely garden photo-op. The various Italian designers showcased their best take on spring fashion, and the outfits displayed floral hair arrangements, breathable suits, body-hugging lace, and pops of color, mixed with mostly neutral tones. The evening continued upstairs as guests mingled and bobbed along to fabulous DJ, Sasha Barbot, who mixed addictive pop beats with Italian songs. We left feeling as though we had just traveled to and from Italy, and the glamorous event was surely “Italy on Madison!”
