A splendiferous night of whimsy and art magic was had at the 2025 Whitney Art Party.

The Whitney Museum of American Art transformed into “Studio 99” on Jan. 28. A flashback to an era of unrivaled whimsy and fun, the moment forever became an embedded memory of glory in every person lucky enough to spend the evening at 99 Gansevoort Street.

Disco fever illuminated every floor until the midnight hour with the likes of patrons, emerging artists, and guests from the worlds of art, fashion, business, philanthropy, and entertainment.

Co-chairs Steven Beltrani, Micaela Erlanger, Alexander Hankin, Christine Sun Kim, and Tabboo! enthusiastically greeted guests and partygoers were entertained with DJ sets by duo The Muses and Jenny Albright. Art Party, a fundraiser for the Museum’s Independent Study Program, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The epic night brought out the scrumptious magic of Maestro Dobel Tequila when guests delighted in smooth sips of Dobel 50 Cristalino Extra Añejo. The bold and beautiful drink brought out the glimmering sophistication that fit the ball of art in a fantastic way.

Elevating the night to even further heights, guests hopped in the elevator turned bar and indulged in the Studio 99 Smash cocktail stirred and shaken to perfection with Dobel Diamante Cristalino Tequila, fresh lime, fresh ginger, and pineapple.

The night went on as attendees gathered on the museum’s ground floor in the Kenneth C. Griffin Hall for a disco-themed floor as well as famed galleries including the landmark Edges of Ailey before it closes on February 9.

Hosted by the Museum’s Whitney Contemporaries, proceeds from the Art Party provide critical support to the Whitney’s renowned Independent Study Program. Founded in 1968, ISP is one of the country’s leading postgraduate programs in studio art, curatorial studies, and critical studies. The program furthers the Whitney’s mission to support living artists throughout their careers.
