As we are barreling through the final weeks of summer, the long beach days, parties and late nights are endless. However, even amid its high-energy offerings and extensive entertainment, Ocean Casino Resort wants to ensure that guests don’t leave their wellness rituals and routines in the dust.
This summer, Ocean has partnered with MakeUp Eraser to ensure that guests are caring for their skin in and out of the sun, especially when makeup, sunscreen and alcohol are involved. From the sand to the dinner table and even the club, the curated Day-to-Night MakeUp Eraser Box consists of two parts. “Erase the Day” boasts a Sunscreen Eraser that gently removes stubborn, water-resistant sunscreen without stripping the pores. The Hydrogel Eye Masks erase tired under-eyes with a burst of hydration and plumpness, especially after intense sun exposure on the Jersey Shore.
After a night out, whether it’s dinner at one of Ocean’s high-end restaurants like the Spanish tapas Amada or Italian fare at Linguini By the Sea or even a high-energy night at HQ2 Nightclub, there is “Erase the Night.” It includes the patented, water-activated Original MakeUp Eraser to remove all makeup, from stubborn eyeliner to rosy blushes, while gently exfoliating your skin. Though the Eraser works amazingly with just water, the Cloud Cleanse delivers a deeper, hydrating cleanse, and the Eco Towels, made with 100% eucalyptus fibers, keep the face crystal clear after cleansing, allowing guests to dry their faces without worrying about bacteria.

After a quick but extensive health questionnaire and a video call with an advanced nurse practitioner, ShoreShotIV founder and co-owner Jeanine Nuñez, RN, BSN, explained the contents of the Royal Flush Radiance IV drip, which she designed to support skin health, hair and nail strength and overall wellness through vitamin replenishment and antioxidant support.
“What’s going to be in this IV is a strong dose of vitamin C, biotin, which helps fortify skin, hair, nails,” she told The Knockturnal. “Then we are going to have a mineral blend, which is just all the minerals that you need to keep going.” After speaking with Nurse Nuñez about my current physical and mental state after a long week of work and travel, she added a B12 shot to my bag to support healthy nerve cells.
A completely curated and individualized experience, Nurse Nuñez explained the two most popular offerings so far. “Our Myers Cocktail Bag, which is a broad spectrum of a little bit of everything in it,” she said. “Then, being in a casino, we have our Hangover Bag. It has Zofran in it, magnesium. You can add Toradol for any headaches and a vitamin blend as well.”
The zen spa-like atmosphere is just steps away from the casino floor, complete with vibrating, heated lounge chairs and steam eye masks for total relaxation while the IV does its job. “By trade, I’m a pediatric operating room nurse,” Nurse Nuñez said. “As a former athlete, I take my health and wellness very seriously. So that’s what made me really study up on the medication, vitamins and minerals and what positive things they can do for you. Coming into Ocean specifically, I love this casino. I think that it has so many amazing qualities.”
After just 40 minutes of total relaxation, my treatment was complete. Just one hour later, I felt more energetic and refreshed than I had in days, especially since I had only a few hours of sleep the previous evening.
