After touring across America, the musical adaptation of the beloved filmย Set it Off comes to New York stages this month
The musical version ofย Set It Off will be coming to Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre this April 28th and 29th on a tour across the US. Directed by Je’caryous Johnson, the musical, which is based on the 1996 movie of the same name, will be hitting the stage with an all-star cast.ย Doctor Dolittleย series star Kyla Pratt, acclaimed rapper Da Brat, actress and musical artist Demetriaย McKinney and Grammy winner Letoya Luckett headline the show, which promises to be a fun time at the theater. The film, which starred Queen Latifah, Jeaa Pinkett Smith, Vivica A. Fox and Kimberly Elise, followed four women who plot and stage a bank robbery in Los Angeles for a variety of reasons.
