The Girls On The Bus TV series showcases the ethical dilemmas that come about when politics meshes with friendships.

When it comes to the notorious saying, “the personal is political,” can our empathy towards others have the power to even change our most headstrong views?

The TV series focuses on the journey of four different journalists who are part of completely different political parties and stances on the craft. One is a conservative, the second is a socialist, the third is an investigator, and the last is a democrat. What binds them together is that all four are all following the political trail, and yes, on a bus.

The four develop friendships that defy the odds as they help each other deal with personal woes and wins, many of which test their own political beliefs. The comedic relief in the series is very appreciated and gives audience members a chance to get a humorous breather.

The script is refreshing and the spunky journalists offer a variety of personalities to observe – eloquent, confident, determined and disciplined. The series offers a new take on following politics by offering a representation of diverse political views, ages, upbringings and more. With America’s very own political campaign underway, the series serves as an escape as one of the cast members shared with me in the red carpet.
