Monday afternoon (July 23) in New York, a special group of fans were treated to an exclusive performance from singer Hailee Steinfeld at the “Make Your Dreams Stick” event hosted by Post-it.
Many members of the audience were students from the New York City chapter of national non-profitΒ After-School All-Stars. The event kicked off Post-itβs official back to school campaign, and before performing her hit songs βStarvingβ and βLet Me Goβ guests were also treated to a Q&A with Hailee, hosted by Global Business Director of the Post-it brand Remi Kent.
When asked about her goals Steinfeld said, βIβm currently in the middle of a tour right now and its been a goal of mine to get out on the road this year, so thatβs coming into life which is exciting. And I think love doing acting and singing and as long as I can remain doing both happy and healthy then thatβs my goal.β
When asked what struggles she faces working towards her goals, Steinfeld answered, βIf it’s not somebody saying directly βit’s something you canβt do, it’s probably me being tired or thinking it’s never going to happen. Sometimes you can be your own worst enemy and I think it’s important to remember whatever it is that youβre doing if it makes you happy, nothing should come in the way of that. Of course you will face set backs but it’s important to stay positive and keep going.β
