Bergdorf Goodman will be the first major retailer to carry Gucci’s collection of décor and household goods in-store.
Coinciding with New York Fashion Week in September, the collaboration will include a new permanent shop, temporary installations, and two window displays at the iconic Bergdorf Goodman on 5th Avenue and 58th Street. The temporary installation on the seventh floor showcases five different wallpapers from the collection, vibrant decorative folding screens, a unique vanity seat, and wooden chairs. Another installation can be found in the women’s ready-to-wear shop on the second floor. The two window displays will celebrate the powerhouse collaboration by integrating Gucci Décor with clothing and accessories from the House.
Gucci Décor’s patterns are in a similar style to the House’s fashion collections, reimagining their designs in furniture, furnishings and small porcelain pieces. Bergdorf Goodman will be the only in-store retailer to carry distinctive dinnerware featuring Gucci’s signature green and white Herbarium design.
The installations will open on September 6 and will be on view through October. The permanent Gucci Décor shop will then open shortly after, which will feature bright yellow walls, a bold floral carpet, and stunning pieces from the one-of-a-kind collection.
