GREY GOOSE celebrated the official launch of its global summer pop up experience, GREY GOOSE Boulangerie Bleue, with a massive takeover at Le District in Battery Park.

Last night, Le District in Battery Park NYC was the place to be.  GREY GOOSE officially launched their summer pop up experience, GREY GOOSE Boulangerie Bleue at the French food hall.  Private guests listened to a mellow DJ set from French artists Kitsuné and enjoyed GREY GOOSE’s newest cocktail, The Grand Fizz, at the outdoor reception as the sun set on the waterfront.  Guests could take photobooth pictures, learn the bread-making basics with Chef Adam Leonti of Brooklyn Bread Lab, and even create their own vodka martini cocktail in the GREY GOOSE Camionette, described as “the worlds most intimate martini cocktail bar.”

The atmosphere at Le District was fun and cool, and perfectly embodied the vibe of a French Riviera.  But the evening really kicked off with the incredible three-course dinner provided by Le District’s Chef de Cuisine, Nicolas Abello.  Each dish was specifically created for the event and paired with cocktails made to mimic the taste profiles of different wines, including delectable Alaskan King Salmon and scallop dishes that were paired with delicious mock white and red wines respectively.  Creator and Cellar Master Francois Thibault oversaw every step in the creation of GREY GOOSE vodka from field to bottle – a process that begins with personal selection of the finest French ingredients and a careful process which ensures that their natural characteristics are captured in the final spirit.  Following the dinner, most of the guests packed back into Le District to dance to music by Australian electro-pop trio Rüfüs du Sol and enjoy more cocktails.   To close out the night, Metronomy bassist Olugbenga jumped on the decks, and kept guests on their feet until the lights came on.
