Last Tuesday I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of “The Great Wolf Pack,” Great Wolf Entertainment’s first animated film.
Also in attendance included Vivica A. Fox, Mario Lopez, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and their families! Executive Producers Julia Pistor (The Spongebob Squarepants Movie), along with the film’s director Chris Baily were also in attendance.
The first item on the event itinerary was a red carpet treatment with character meet-n-greets as well as photo opps. In addition to the wide array of food options, there was a kid’s mocktail bar as well as a full bar for the adults.

Guests were then ushered into the Screening room which had so many snacks, including cotton candy machines and literally every candy you could imagine. There were also more photo opps and even floor seating with little floor tables where fams could watch and eat comfortably picnic styles.
The film itself was a lot of fun for kids. Great Wolf Pack: A Call to Adventure tells an enchanting story of five unlinkely woodland friends who are chosen by the Great Wolf Geyser to become an unbreakable Pack. It was definitely a very cool animation style, with a sort of nostalgic feel to it. The voice actors, who were also in attendance, also did a pretty fantastic job in the film as well.
Finally, anyone who was at the premiere was granted full VIP access to the waterpark which meant no lines. Also there was a taco station and more open bar which was honestly very generous of them. Having the park to ourselves was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had at an amusement park. It was like having a flash pass without the flash pass. I’m pretty sure I went on every single ride, some twice and still wasn’t bored.
The entire trip was a lot more fun that I anticipated. I liked the vibe of the resort iteslf, and noticed the theme was pretty consistent throughout the resort and water park. The rooms were nice too and the breakfast buffet was definitely something I would go back for.
There were obviously a ton of families there, so I’m assuming its a great place to bring your kid for a weekend. In addition to the park, there were a lot of different things to do there, like an arcade and even quests you can complete throughout your stay there.
