goodr, the Los Angeles-based sunglasses brand known for shaking up the industry with its irreverent voice and award-winning product, is launching the Cabana, an experiential retail store located in Venice, California.

On Saturday, August 14th, 2021, press had the chance to attend a VIP preview of the brand new store, which included a guided tour, amazing goodies, and boozy snow cones. But calling the Cabana a βstoreβ doesnβt quite do it justice; itβs more of an experience. After a year of imagining, designing, and building, a trip to the goodr Cabana leaves you feeling as though youβve just returned from your own little vacation paradise.

Located right in the heart of the Abbot Kinney shopping district of Venice, the Cabana is an immersive spot with more grammable photo ops than you can imagineβ¦ Quirky, eye-catching signageβ¦ An infinity mirrorβ¦ A neon hallwayβ¦ An adorable backyard space with seatingβ¦ A custom flamingo couch (my favorite)β¦ And of course, who could forget the massive pair of sunglasses sitting atop the Cabanaβs roof?
Those who attended the invite-only sneak peak event were gifted with treats, both delicious and adorable. A cute flamingo-patterned cooler bag was given to passing guests, holding yet another surprise inside β six pairs of goodrβs most βfun, fashionable, functional, and βffordableβ sunglasses in varying styles. Truly something for everyone! The boozy snow cones at the end of the tour were a perfect complement to the tropical-themed experience.
goodr is best-known for their active sunglasses, which offer polarized lenses and no-slip, no-bounce performance. Since the companyβs launch in 2015, they have expanded their line to include sunglasses specially made for golfing, biking, and more. goodr has collaborated with Warner Bros. and the Rolling Stones, won several awards including the Runnerβs World Gear of the Year (twice), Menβs Health Best Buy, and PGA Buyerβs Choice, and was most recently featured as βmust-haveβ gear in the Summer 2021 edition of Oprah Daily.
The goodr Cabana will be open for business daily, starting on Monday, August 23rd, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., located at 1348 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, CA 90291. And remember, itβs not just a store β itβs an experience.
