On Monday November 30th Denise Rich and Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research toasted to the success of the Angel Ball 2015 Gala at NYC hot spot Tao Downtown.
The Angel Ball Gala, which was held earlier this fall, raised over $3.6 million for cancer research and is one of the top New York social events boasting an impressive guest list. This week’s party was a celebration for all who were part of the gala. Guests sipped on cocktails provided by Manhattan Moonshine, the world’s first premium un-aged whiskey, 50 Bleu Vodka and Forever Young Wine. They also sampled passed appetizers like pork dumplings, shrimp, and vegetable spring rolls courtesy of Tao.
Notable attendees included: Denise Rich, Michele Rella, Alicia Quarles, Rita Cosby, Cynthia Ott & James Coleman, Bonnie Pfeifer Evans, Lucia Hwong Gordon and William Kehler.
We chatted with William Kehler – the founder and CEO of Manhattan Moonshine on why he chose to team up with Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation.
“Honestly if you’re in the liquor business people approach you all the time for product and for us we really like to put the liquor where it matters and where it matters is helping bring people to the table because of people are drinking and enjoying they’ll remember the event fondly and hopefully donate more. Supporting charities I care about is useful both for business reasons and for advancing the cause”
