The album was officially released to the public on Friday, but special fans and guests joined G Herbo and Southside in Chelsea for a special celebration.
This past Thursday, G Herbo and fans came together to enjoy the anticipated release of his newest album, Swervo, produced entirely by one of hip-hop’s biggest producers, Southside. The event was catered by Nas’ Sweet Chick, the chicken and waffle empire that a majority of New Yorkers have adopted as one of their favorite restaurants. Guests were also treated to Bellaire courtesy of G Herbo, with the rapper’s face adorning some of the bottles of champagne. The room was filled with a variety of different people, even some familiar New York stars like Casanova and ASAP Illz, all anticipating the release of the album.
Once all of the guests were settled in and ready to go, Southside and G Herbo came to the stage, thanked everyone for being there with them and went on to play the project they worked on as a collaborative effort. The hit singles ‘Swervo’ and ‘Who Run It’ came on and everyone rapped along word for word and was dancing along.
