Freeform’s ‘Single Drunk Female’ Season Two Premiere in NYC!

The ‘Single Drunk Female’ Season Two Premiere, offers a comedic-relief enthused, healing journey of sobriety, for lead character Sam, who is learning that despite achieving a huge milestone of being sober for a year and a half, she continues to overcome her personal battles through each episode.

The show is based upon the true sobriety journey of Creator and Executive Producer, Simone Finch, who celebrated the first in-person red carpet premiere for the show, due to Covid-19. ‘Single Drunk Female’ is a dramedy that has a multifaceted episodic flow, which portrays vulnerability, hope, frustration, confusion, fun, and joy, all simultaneously as Sam is figuring out adulting, with the help of her hilarious and witty friends. Sam has her first corporate job, a new apartment and a boyfriend…what could go wrong as she juggles everything? Check out the video interview to see what each cast member said when asked, “if you were Sam’s real life friend, what advice would you give her?”

Post-red carpet, the evening featured delicious cocktails and a huge concession stand (perfect for your M&Ms with popcorn pairing), for the hilarious screening of the first episode of the latest season. The audience passionately cheered on each actor as they were introduced on-screen, and it was lovely to witness the actors receiving their “flowers,” while watching the screening alongside the tv-goers. Guests were then invited to the cast party, where character Sam’s charming on-brand activities included a taco stand, journals for initial personalization, and a fun photo booth.
