The time of the lives for some music fans was had this week when Flavor Flav clocked in for a special shift at Raising Cane’s in Las Vegas.
Clocking in at the flagship location on the world-famous strip, the Grammy winner shared his harmonious vibes with attendees as he served up sizzling menu items from behind the counter. His joyful attitude dipped into the moment as he praised workers helping him out as they served chicken finger box combos along with a side of “One Love.”

“I love my people just like I love my Cane’s and I’m grateful for this opportunity,” said the musician when explaining the secret sauce that made the day perfect to so many who waited to meet him. “Cane’s is full of flavor. They’ve got a unique taste and when you bite into the Chicken Fingers, your taste buds explode.”

His presence helped put a mark on Raising Cane’s newest nationwide campaign that hit the pulse of when it comes to flavor and needing it fast, there’s only one brand that hits quick when hunger strikes. As delicious as the food being served up was the showcase of Flav’s signature bedazzled clock necklaces and this time with a twist of good fortune that is as bright and bold as Vegas itself.

Matching the momentum that Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves promotes when it comes to giving back to the community, the legendary musician took time to hype up his mission of helping female athletes accomplish their dreams.

The custom necklaces designed and hand-bedazzled by Kelly Salvagio of Rock N Stonez, who’s the same jeweler known for crafting Flav’s signature clock necklaces, ticks all the right boxes and makes for a perfect collector item.
An incredible partnership with WSF took on a significant meaning when 18-time Paralympic gold medalist, 31-time Paralympic medalist overall, four-time ESPY Award winner and WSF captain Jessica Long popped into the event to thank Flav for his support of women’s sports. Both took time to explain how the Women’s Sports Foundation exists to enable girls and women to reach their potential in sport and life. It is one of the first organizations to recognize the powerful connection between sports access, equity, and society.
Gifting her with one of the custom bedazzled clocks, was a golden opportunity for both the sports lover and Raising Cane’s aficionado.
“Giving back is always important. I get a lot of love, but that’s because I gave love first,” he said at the impromptu medal ceremony honoring the athlete. “I’m so proud of Jessica and everything she’s achieved – it’s going to be hard for someone to beat this record of 31 medals. She’s the GOAT. The Olympics gave her many medals and it was time for me to give her one of mine.”
The crowd was then treated to a live performance by the pop icon which thrilled and dazzled. Lifting their arms in the air and singing along, attendees felt the magic hit like a lucky streak.
