Spies in Disguise is a thrilling, comedic spy adventure that is the perfect movie to see this holiday season.
The adventure follows top international spy, Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and creative scientist genius Walter Beckett (Tom Holland). Their journey entails saving themselves and the world from an unexpected villain looking to seek revenge. This forces Lance to go undercover resulting in him becoming a pigeon and having to rely on his nerdy sidekick Walter. The two are the complete opposites Lance being the charismatic and dominant character, while Walter is meek and odd according to his peers. As the adventure continues the audience gets to see Walter’s quirky personality and Lance’s wittiness that together makes them a dynamic duo. This movie is ultimately a journey of friendship as well as a perfect reminder to lead with kindness since you never know someone’s story or how you can connect with them or how they can connect with you by one’s exterior.
Spies in Disguise directed by Troy Quane and Nick Bruno is produced by Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping with a screenplay from Brad Copeland and Lloyd Taylor and screen story by Cindy Davis inspired by the animated short film “Pigeon Impossible” by Lucas Martell.
The film features Will Smith, Tom Holland, DJ Khaled, Rashida Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Reba McEntire, Rachel Brosnahan, Karen Gillan, and Masi Oka.
