If you missed the Secret Summer Festival, look no further
Last week, Casa Dragones Tequila hosted a beautiful event at Festival Café to commemorate the first anniversary of their partnership. Located in the Upper East Side, Festival Cage is one of the only farm-to-bar lounges in Manhattan, focusing on some of the freshest ingredients that take any drink to the next level.
Attendees of the first-anniversary party were treated to a variety of activities such as unlimited Casa Dragones cocktails, tasting of Casa Dragones’ rare Joven, and Anejo tequilas, farm-to-table canapes, and a large charcuterie station in the front. Additional activities that were going on throughout the night included live art, watercolor caricatures, tarot card readings, and must from DJ Sasha Hart. One of our favorite cocktail creations of the night was called Killing Word which was made with Casa Dragones Blanco tequila chartreuse, and Montanaro 6 pm lime cordial. A very simple-sounding drink had a fruit-forward taste that resembled that of a cool and refreshing raspberry drink.
And if you are unfamiliar with Festival Café, you should know that it is unlike any midtown or Upper East Side bar you will ever see. Being an extension of the wildly popular Secret Summer Festival, Festival Café specializes in locally sources, sustainable, and seasonal drinks and bites. The cafe will serve coffee and patisseries during the day and at night, transition into a fully functioning cocktail bar with beautifully presented, seasonal bites and snacks until 2 am.
