Hailing from Berlin, Peggy Gou is a whole vibe. She first started to show on our radar last year.
Ever since we’ve been checking out her music. Her latest project titled ‘It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)’ is a great set of remixes amass by Peggy Gou, brings together a very festive fast pace. Courtesy of producers Jamal Moss Chicago Phonic Sound System Remi, I:Cube, Jay Daniel and I:Cube Parallel Dub.
Each remix carries its own rhythm, I think depending on where you are sonically, pretty much each remix has replay value. Which makes Peggy Gou a skilled DJ/Producer, who with her Berlin influences brings together a variety of fun sounds. Our favorite is Jay Daniel’s remix which is perfect for an evening out with friends. It’s low tempo enough to give a sultry nighttime vibe but as placement on a playlist full of festival-friendly party music, it doesn’t bring the experience down as matter of fact, it works as a breather track in between other remixes.
