We gathered at Rockefeller Center for an unforgettable evening celebrating the flavors of Los Cabos, Mexico. This exclusive event, hosted by the Los Cabos Tourism Board, offered an intimate, six-course dinner crafted by esteemed Master Chef Yvan Mucharraz from the renowned COMAL at Aubergeβs Chileno Bay Resort. Guests savored innovative dishes that showcased Bajaβs rich bounty, each course paired with cocktails by renowned Mixologist Osvaldo Vasquez, known for his expertise with traditional Baja ingredients.
The event began with a private cocktail reception where attendees sampled Los Cabos-inspired cocktails and mingled, setting the stage for the culinary adventure ahead. The eveningβs tasting menu began with flavorful canapΓ©s, followed by fresh Kumamoto oysters with caviar, blue shrimp with Baja Kampachi crudo, and abalone with bluefin tuna. As the courses progressed, guests were treated to rich black bass with sunflower miso, a succulent Wagyu barbacoa, and a mamey dessert with melipona honey ice cream. Each course was carefully paired with cocktails, enhancing the vibrant flavors of Baja California Sur.
In addition to the gastronomic experience, one lucky attendee won a trip to Los Cabos, including flights and accommodations at Chileno Bay Resort, immersing them further in this culinary haven.
