In 2019, hit HBO show Euphoria took the world by storm.
Amidst a global pandemic, the shooting of Euphoria, unfortunately, had to be put on pause, but now the highly anticipated season two is here. In season one, we followed teenage addict Rue Bennett, played by Zendaya, as she struggles with sobriety after coming back from rehab while she faces daily challenges in high school. Along with being able to watch Rue’s story, director Sam Levinson does a stupendous job allowing the audience to also follow along with other students in Rue’s high school as they try to navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma, abusive relationships, and social media. The second season picks up right where season one left off with Rue relapsing after trying to stay sober. With returning faces like Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, and Barbie Ferreira and new characters like Rue’s new friend Elliot, played by singer Dominic Fike, there is a lot to look forward to this season like the return of British singer and songwriter, Labrinth, who also worked on the soundtrack for season one.
