SK8 recently released his single titled “Pages,” which features Machine Gun Kellys lead drummer, Rook.
SK8 has had a continuous amount of success over the years. In 2015, he opened for Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Rae Sremmurd. In 2016, he dropped three projects, established a signature sound for himself, and signed a Joint Venture with Atlantic Records in 2018. He is also currently managed by Wiz Khalifa and Will Dzomback through Taylor Gang Management. Since discovering music at the age of 15, he has constantly made music combining various genres to create a unique sound for himself. SK8 prefers to mix and merge different styles to create distinct sounds that aren’t defined by specific musical categories. He grew up exposed to diverse artists and genres ranging from Bob Marley, Red hot Chili Peppers, Lil Wayne, and 50 Cent.
The Covid- 19 pandemic played a major role in the creation of his soon-to-be-released album. SK8 describes the album as one that will be relatable for fans and highlights some dark moments that he wanted to express. The alum will have a combination of old and new punk rock sounds and features that he considers to be special records.
