Padma Lakshmi hosted a celebration dinner for her new partnership with DAH! India Inspired Yogurt.
The evening took place at Semma Southern Indian cuisine restaurant in the West Village of NYC. Chef Vijay Kumar prepared a multi-course meal and incorporated DAH! Plain Lassi into a majority of the dishes. Some of the meals created were Dahi Puri, Kozhi Allepey, and Thayir Vadai and paired with traditional Southern Indian sides. In addition to the food, there were a variety of drink selections such as Semma’s signature Feni cocktail and custom cocktails by El Cristiano Ultra Premium Tequila, the inclusion of a candied rim, DAH! Tequila-infused Lassi shooter, a Skurnick Indian wine selection of hand-selected reds and whites, and 1947 Indian Craft Beer.

During the dinner, Culinary Expert, Board Advisor, and Brand Partner of DAH! India Inspired Yogurt, Lakshmi gave a speech about what this partnership means to her. She states, ” I grew up in an Indian home where we made yogurt every day from scratch… What I love about DAH! is the taste, the mouthfeel, and also the fact that it is great in recipes, but the best way to drink tadlessi is just to drink it.” The celebration offered guests an authentic experience through food, drinks, and conversations.
