Actress, host, producer, author and now colada connoisseur, Lala Anthony is proving there’s nothing she cannot do. Baileys is now partnering with the POWER actress for the new Baileys Colada.
The actress cleverly named her signature cocktail after her name, titled Bailey’s Co-La-La. “I was able to come up with my own drink called Baileys Co-la-LA!” Anthony says. “It’s like a slushy version of the [original] drink”. Anthony says even pre-pandemic she hasn’t been able to travel much, but she says the new drink has inspired her to give back to herself and take some time off. “Everyone seems to be on vacation except me right now” Says Anthony. “I don’t vacation a lot which is something I always say that I need to get better at…it’s something that I want to start doing more, for sure.”
With the new Baileys Colada, Anthony believes more people will get the island experience from their own home. “I love that the Baileys Colada is like vacation in a bottle”. Aside from her new partnership, Anthony is excited for her returning role in The Chi returning this fall on Showtime. She also discusses some new upcoming projects she’s working on with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson which are expected to be released soon. “I’m also working on grown-ish, and the Wutang series is another thing I’m super excited about so I have my work cut out for me on the acting side. 50 and I are producing a bunch of shows together so that’s been fun”

BAILEYS CO-LA LA RECIPE
Serves 2
Ingredients
3 1/2 oz. Baileys Colada
1 1/2 Cups Crushed Ice
Chocolate Covered Strawberry for Garnish
Preparation
Add crushed ice and Baileys Colada into a blender
Blend to a smooth consistency
Pour blended cocktails into colada glasses
Garnish with a chocolate-covered strawberry
