Claire Holt stars as Kelly in “Untitled Horror Movie,” an exciting and unique horror comedy film directed by Nick Simon.
The film also stars Luke Baines, who co-wrote the movie with Simon, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Darren Barnet, Katherine McNamara, and Timothy Granaderos. Holt and her co-stars portray actors looking to create work for themselves after they suspect that their show is getting cancelled.
The friends decide to make a horror movie together, with hopes of it being sold to a major studio. But when the horror seems to become real, nothing can prepare them for what happens next.
Untitled Horror Movie is creative, fun, and exciting, with twists and turns that will keep audiences guessing along with the characters from start to finish. Filmed remotely during quarantine, the production process for the film was entirely unique. The cast was responsible for their own hair, makeup, lighting, and sound, and the director gave instructions over Zoom. Additionally, many of the cast have never even met in person.
Holt was excited to bring Kelly to life in Untitled Horror Movie. “I’ve never really gotten the opportunity to play a comedic role like Kelly,” Holt says. “I’m typically cast in roles that are dramatic or supernatural.”
Untitled Horror Movie is available on iTunes and Amazon on June 15.
