For many of us, iCarly was our childhood, and what a joy it is that the Paramount+ reboot has offered us a chance at evoking that same nostalgia and revisiting our favorite characters: Carly, Freddie, and Spencer.
Naturally, a lot has changed since iCarly first graced our Nickelodeon screens back in 2007. Most of the changes boiling down to being over a jaw-dropping decade ago. Fans got a chance to relive memories with the first season and with the second one—which drops this Friday, April 8—it proves to be just as fun.
Streaming exclusively on Paramount+ and produced by Nickelodeon Studios the reboot the life of the original influencer, Carly Shay, and her friend as they navigate life in their 20s. The 10-episode second season will have new episodes drop weekly on Fridays.
The second season picks up right after the first season ended, with Carly refocusing her attention on her friends and family following her romantic complications, all while working to boost her revived web channel. Spencer and Harper must also navigate new personal and career developments, while Freddie balances raising Millicent with a new app and a new girlfriend. The series stars Miranda Cosgrove as Carly, Jerry Trainor as Spencer, Nathan Kress as Freddie, Laci Mosley as Harper and Jaidyn Triplett as Millicent.
