Complete with plenty of comedy and charm, ‘Brian and Charles’ provides laughs and an escape for audiences.
Brian and Charles tells the story of Brian, a lonely inventor in rural Wales who spends all of his time building and inventing quirky, creative, and unusual contraptions. Despite the fact that his inventions rarely work out according to plan, Brian continues his pursuits of inventing and embarks on his biggest project to date. Brian creates Charles, an artificially intelligent robot made out of a washing machine.
David Earl portrays Brian and Chris Hayward brings Charles to life on screen. The duo also wrote the film, which chronicles the humorous and heartwarming story of friendship, family, finding love, and more.
The film is directed by Jim Archer and produced by Rupert Majendie. This creative team also created a short film about the characters Brian and Charles in 2017 and were excited to return for a feature.
“It was really exciting” Earl said of returning to make Brian and Charles. “The lovely thing about it is that we are all friends, so four friends got to make a film together.”
