Netflix’s hit “Who Killed Sara?” returns for Season 2 and its star Carolina Miranda sat down with The Knockturnal to dish on what’s to come.

Season 1 left off with more burning questions than answers but Carolina says – without giving any spoilers – that Season 2 will finally bring some resolve.
“In Season 2 there will be many answers for the questions you have from Season 1. It’s going to be great! There’s gonna be a lot of action, romance with Alex and Elisa and it’s going to be very dramatic,” Carolina said.
“You’re going to see the same Elisa who is always finding the truth and to find out who killed Sara and what’s happening with her family. There’s something that I can’t say but it’s going to be amazing – all the things Elisa is going to do with her family and with Alex,” she added.
She recalled her favorite part of filming Season 1 – which was the iconic dinner scene with her Lazcano family where things came to a head and tensions were high.
Carolina also took a look back on her start in acting.
“I started acting 10 years ago. I was modeling when I was 12 but I wanted to do something more. I was grateful to be a model but I needed to express something else, more than the image. So I kept studying acting and it was amazing to create new characters, new stories, and new feelings,” she said.
Carolina says she has many other interests, including swimming, writing, singing, and reading, but her filming schedule has kept her busy – but she said she’s been enjoying the ride.
“Wait for Season 2 it’s going to be amazing! I hope you enjoy it,” Carolina said. “I will be grateful and very happy to be with you all across your TV!”
Season 2 of Who Killed Sara? premieres on May 19 on Netflix.
