We caught up with Bow Wow to discuss his career and his appearance on the latest episode of Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.
Bow Wow’s career has spanned over two decades, beginning when he was only 13. At the age of 13, Bow Wow released his first album Beware of Dog, which debuted at number 8 on the US Billboard 200 and went double platinum. At the age of 15 Bow Wow made his film debut in All About the Benjamin and his career has only gone up since then. From rapping to acting to presenting, producing and broadcasting, there’s nothing Bow Wow hasn’t done and done successfully at that.
Today Bow Wow joins us to talk about the highlights of his career like debuting on the Billboard 200 at such a young age and performing with Madonna at the Grammys. He also discusses his simultaneous love for both music and acting and how acting has provided him with the flexibility and life balance that he needs in order to spend more time with his family. Bow Wow also discussed his relationship with his big homies like Snoop Dog and Puff, musical inspirations who have helped guide his career and his personal growth.
