The HBO Max original series show Made for Love returns for season 2 on April 28th.
Season 1 followed Hazel Green, a woman on the run after spending ten years in a suffocating marriage to tech billionaire Byron Gogol. She soon discovered that her husband implanted a monitoring device called the Made for Love chip in her brain, which allowed him to track her, watch her and know her “emotional data.” In an attempt to deepen the level of communication beyond traditional norms creating an artificially pleasurable experience for their relationship. Byron ultimately offers Hazel an exchange which causes her to return home.
Season 2 continues with the tense relationship between Hazel Green and Byron Gogol, played by Cristin Milioti and Billy Magnussen. The dynamic between both characters shifts as Hazel returns to The Hub in an attempt to save her father’s life. As season 2 progresses, Magnussen’s character remains hopeful and attempts to repair the relationship that Hazel no longer wants. Magnussen spoke with our correspondent Rebecca Eugene about the new season and what viewers will see from his character. The series will offer fans a variety of scenes that display broken bonds, secrets, hope, and familial responsibilities.
