Zack Woods & Lenora Crichlow talk HBO’s science fiction comedy ‘Avenue 5’ Season 2.
HBO’s ‘Avenue 5’ is the newest sci-fy comedy on the streaming platform. The show depicts forty years in the future when traveling in the solar system has become a successful business. Avenue 5, the interplanetary ship, is packed with luxurious amenities, and follows life on board, with a mash-up of cruise liners! Yes you’ve read that right! A luxury space cruise-ship.
Creating a show that combines two genres that we normally don’t see, cast members Zach Woods and Lenora Crichlow expand more on the creation of the show, what makes the series stand out from others they’ve worked on, their characters, and things they do during the show that they would do in real life. Zach Woods plays Matt Spencer, “Head of Passenger Services” who makes sure the journey is smooth. Lenora Crichlow plays Billie McEvoy, the cruise-ship’s engineer who ensures the systems are always up and running.
