All Elite Wrestling (AEW) made it’s worldwide debut back in early 2019. The vision of Cody Runnels, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and owner Tony Khan came to reality when the promotion was launched at that time. What came with AEW, is the first professional wrestling show to air on TNT since the closure of WCW (World Championship Wrestling) back in 2001 and that is, AEW Dynamite.
AEW Dynamite premiered on October 2nd, 2019 on TNT Network. Dynamite airs at the same time that WWE’s NXT airs on USA Network. Thus creating the “Wednesday Night Wars.” Every week since then, Dynamite has been a rating’s success on Wednesday nights. The reason for this is because wrestling fans wanted an alternative from the WWE product. And every Wednesday, there is something new for wrestling fans.
The promotion features legends and stars in the wrestling universe such as Chris Jericho, Dustin Rhodes, Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, Thunder Rosa, The Young Bucks, and Cody Runnels. With those featured stars, there are also homegrown talent from the AEW roster that are hungry to succeed such as Britt Baker, Sonny Kiss, Pride and Powerful, MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman), and Joey Janella. There is something for everyone when you tune in AEW Dynamite.
Dynamite is having their one-year anniversary show coming soon and to celebrate the anniversary, AEW superstars Sonny Kiss and Britt Baker are here to talk about the anniversary. Other key things to note, is their take on Andrew Yang’s recent comments about WWE’s independent contractor status, Their journey from the independents to AEW, and their favorite matches in this exclusive interview!
