Power Book III: Raising Kanan premiered at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center in New York on Thursday, July 15th . STARZ hosted a red carpet and premiere for the new STARZ Original Series. It was a true “Power” Universe with enthralling performances by 50 Cent, Uncle Murda, NLE Choppa, Rileyy Lanez, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap.
Ahead of the first season’s premiere, news broke earlier this week that the second season of Raising Kanan has been renewed by STARZ.
There were cast members of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” present, such as Patina Miller, MeKai Curtis, Omar Epps, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Hailey Kilgore, Joey Bada$$, Lovie Simone, Quincy Brown, Toby Sandeman, and Shanley Caswell, as well as Executive Producer, Creator and Showrunner Sascha Penn, Executive Producers Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton, Chris Salek, Bart Wenrich, and Shana Stein.
The first season is going to tell the story of Kanan as we see his story of how he became who he was on Power.
