Film Review: ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ Starring Alexander Skarsgard
With Hollywood running out of ideas, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing a new version of Tarzan. What is surprising is that The Legend of Tarzan is a pretty okay movie, probably the best-worst blockbuster of 2016.
Do not come to this movie for the title. A brief musical interlude at the beginning is one’s only respite from a world of prejudice and fright. Come to it for the message about Islam, tolerance, and family ties.
