The 2019 Golden Globes red carpet awards had many celebrities in attendance strutting new fashion and beauty trends. With the help of Dove Hair and well-known celebrity hair stylists, stars like Constance Wu, Amy Poehler, Lili Reinhart to name a few stood out with must-see beauty looks.
On January 6th, 2019 the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place in Beverly Hills, California. Alongside rooting for our favorite actors and actresses in the film industry; the glam can be just as exciting to see.
Dove Hair worked with celebrity stylists Marissa Marino, Creighton Bowman, David Stanwell, Ben Skervin, and Mark Townsend. Marissa Marino styled Golden Globe nominee Constance Wu’s hair with a fairytale braid.

Marino used both new ‘Dove Care Between Washes Invisible Dry Shampoo’ as well as new ‘Dove Style+Care Compressed Micro Mist Flexible Hold Hairspray.’ “It was amazing because there was no color to it and you couldn’t tell I sprayed it at all over her dark brown hair! We got to keep the texture on the ends without the roots looking oily.” shared Marino on the Invisible Dry Shampoo.
David Stanwell for Dove Hair styled actress Lili Reinhart’s hair in a chic and sleek slicked back bun. Stanwell applied new ‘Dove Style+Care Smooth & Shine Heat Protection Spray’ to protect Reinhart’s naturally curly hair during heat styling. Stanwell then followed by straightening Reinhart’s hair for a smooth and flat finish. Elastic bands were used to place Reinhart’s hair into a bun and sprayed with new ‘Dove Style+Care Micro Mist Extra Hold Hairspray’ for a secure hold and matte finish.

“This dress is quite the statement, so we decided to go for a very sleek and chic style with a side part, so the hair doesn’t interfere with what the dress is doing. All elements work together perfectly with a strong eye and sleek side part – it’s very high fashion which we are loving” said Stanell on his styling choice for the event.
With the release of these new Dove Hair products, red carpet glam will be affordable as well as accessible. The new ‘Dove Style+Care’, as well as the new ‘Dove Care Between Wash’ products, will all retail between $4.99 -$5.99 USD. These products will be available in all major food and drug retailers.
