Philadelphia Celebrates Dîner en Blanc on August 15th, 2024 for its 12th year. The secret location this year was held in Phildelphia’s Love Park filled with 5,000 guests dressed to impress in their all-white.
This year’s theme captured the 50th anniversary of “Come and Get Your Love,” a song by Redbone also written in the city of Philadelphia. With the theme being an ode to love, the well-known Love Park statue made great photo ops for attendees throughout the night. The City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection embraced the evening with their unique fashion, table decorations, and dance moves.
With stunning views of the city, there were live performances that kept the festivities alive. The Boathouse Row Band took the stage performing timeless classics. As you wandered Love Park you could find Great on Skates, Sixers Stickers drumline, Harpist Laura Dishon, and many more. The night was truly magical with whimsical characters roaming the streets, multiple 360 booths, and the opportunity to get a beautiful face painting. Dîner en Blanc Philadelphia started with its well-known napkin wave and ended by lighting up the city with its annual sparkling ceremony.
Dîner en Blanc Philadelphia started August 23rd , 2012 with Natanya DiBona and Kayli Moran as co-host. With the help of a six-person volunteer team, they have expanded a special tradition to Philadelphia.“Love Park symbolizes the essence of our event—love and unity.
