On July 20, the Hamptons were a tasty delight.
Dan’s Taste of Two Forks took place at Fairview Farm at Mecox and made the summer season wonderful.
Hundreds of attendees came from near and far to take part in the fun. Considered the best event of the summer in the Hamptons is the premier food-and-wine celebration of the season.
The ninth year event had top chefs from 40 restaurants and winemakers from some 20 vineyards that came together to serve up the finest that the Hamptons and North Fork have to offer.
Lauren Scala, traffic reporter on NBC, served as the gracious host as DJ Phresh played fun tunes all night presented by Mohegan Sun.
Alongside the creations of local artisan purveyors, premium beer and spirits were served. There was in addition a breathtaking VIP lounge overlooking the water.
Taste of Two forks was part of a series of food festivals, which also included the popular Grill Hamptons the night before that highlighted a competition. Winners included The Preston House and Hotel that took home the Blue Moon People’s Choice Award at Grill Hampton, as well as Events by Peter Ambrose whose team took home New York Prime Beef Judge’s Choice Award.
