Smart Home Favorites
With the Smart Home Favorites widget, you can view and control your most-used compatible smart home devices with just a tap. To add or remove a device from your favorites, go to the devices section of your Alexa app and scroll to ‘Favorites’ and tap ‘Edit’ to choose your preferred devices.
Picture-in-Picture Smart Home Camera View
Add a picture-in-picture live camera feed to your screen so you can do things like check the nursery camera while following along to a recipe. To view picture-in-picture, simply:
Pull up a recipe by saying, “Alexa, show me a recipe for banana bread.” Then, say, “Alexa, show me [insert device name] camera.”
You can also move the location of the picture-in-picture feed by holding and dragging the view to another place on the screen.
Your Deliveries
Add the Your Deliveries widget to your home screen to keep track of your upcoming Amazon deliveries. The widget will show the item arriving next and the expected delivery date
To see all your Amazon deliveries just say “Alexa, where’s my stuff” or tap the widget.
Sticky Notes
Leave a digital sticky note for members of your household—wish them good luck on a big game, share a reminder to walk the dog, or let them know when to be home for dinner. Plus, with visual ID you can send a note directly to a specific family member, which will only show up when Alexa recognizes them in front of the device. You can easily create a sticky note by saying:
