The long awaited trailer is here for the most anticipated film of 2015…and it looks absolutely incredible.
There’s not much that has to be said about the Star Wars franchise that hasn’t already been said. Episodes 4-6 are amazing, Episodes 1-3 almost ruined the franchise. But for 2015, we’ve been given the gift of what looks to be an epic and amazing episode of the Star Wars sage. This trailer gives us a bit more insight into the characters, centering primarily on Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) while also giving us a good look at Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia. I won’t say much else, just go and watch the trailer and enjoy every moment of it.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is directed by J.J. Abrams, written by Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan, and Michael Arndt, and stars and Max von Sydow. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be in theaters December 18, 2015 and tickets are on sale NOW!
Set thirty years after Return of the Jedi, a new generation of characters emerge as household known actors return to play their parts. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew all return to reprise their characters of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca respectively. Also signed onto the project at Adam Driver, Max Von Sydow, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhall Gleeson, and more. Besides directing, J.J. Abrams also produced the film, and wrote it, along with Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt.
Following this installment will be Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 16, 2016, and then Star Wars: Episode VIII on May 26, 2017. You can watch other teaser trailers below:
