This past Saturday at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles California, The Knockturnal attended Saturday’s Beach Body Workout with beautiful and ass-kicking celebrity trainer Ca’Shawn Sims in a promotion of the upcoming film, Baywatch.
It was a hot day, and Ca’Shawn knew just how to give us a transformative workout! We started with stretching, and worked into lunges, squats, team exercises, and ended it with posing with a cardboard cutout of Zac Efron. It doesn’t get much better than this, guys.
My favorite part of the day was when Ca’Shawn introduced our last stretch as the “Spongebob” stretch for our hips, in which we “bring it arouuuund town.” (All of you Spongebob lovers will adore this reference, as did I).

Baywatch (2017) starring Zac Efron, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Priyanka Chopra, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, and Ilfenesh Hadera is a spinoff to the 90’s series – but with some twists. Set on the beaches of Santa Monica, this comedy will definitely have you crying laughing.
The movie will recast some of the iconic characters from the original ’90s show, with the Rock taking on the role of head lifeguard Mitch Buchannon, originally played by David Hasselhoff. David Hasselhoff apparently worked with the Rock on recreating the role, and may have a cameo in the film!
Zac Efron, meanwhile, steps into the shoes of French actor David Charvet as young buck Matt Brody.
The stunningly talented and gorgeous Priyanka Chopra will play the film’s villain, a new character, Victoria Leeds.
Let’s get summer started by heading to the theater to see Baywatch when it premieres May 25th!
