The Knockturnal was invited to enjoy the US Open Women’s Finals as a guest of sponsor Emirates airlines.
Emirates had the best suite at the US Open this year. It was larger than any of the suites and had the most celebrity sightings. The inspiration behind the Hospitality Suite design was Connections, bringing to life the connection between Emirates, the Competitors, the US Open and the Fans.
They used a colour palette of greys and blues to bring a softness to the suite whilst maintaining the sophisticated, premium feel.
They used a ribbed wood laminate on the reception desk, the buffet bar unit, the banquette seating area and the wall in the lounge. This was complimented by the linen wallpaper, the soft sofa and dining seating, the silk cushions, red Perspex semi-transparent wall divides and the marble tops to the counters and shelves. There was a large plasma screen which displayed the live feed as well as stats from the tournament.
