From churning out energetic, choppy cuts to cementing his place as one of the finest track selectors in the game, Seinfeld has proven to be an unstoppable force in all corners of the globe.
Few albums were met with as much anticipation as Armand Jackobsson’s – alias DJ Seinfeld – 2017 debut album, ‘Time Spent Away From U”. The 9 track masterpiece is ridden with emotive gems that showcase Jackobsson’s versatility. The LP takes listeners on a melancholic journey through a myriad of rhythmic soundscapes, ranging from slippery electro grooves to dusty broken beats and everything in between. Ahead of a fully booked summer, DJ Seinfeld announced his participation in curating the next installment of !K7’s legendary compilation mix, ‘DJ-Kicks‘. Arriving with the announcement was an energetic bop lifted from the forthcoming LP, ‘Typeless‘. DJ Seinfeld’s selection of tracks for DJ-Kicks is set to release on July 13th and will include a couple of his exclusive unreleased records as well as cuts from Rimbaudian, Andras, Project Pablo, and many more.
This will be the first time that DJ Seinfeld will play in NYC since filming his lucrative Boiler Room at the end of 2017. Andras and Francis Inferno Orchestra will be joining him on the decks for a rare B2B set that is sure to get the whole venue grooving.
There’s no better way to kick off your weekend than by immersing yourself in the unique musical stylings of the one and only DJ Seinfeld.
