From their wildly popular 90-Day Fiance series, TLC introduces a brand new season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After!
Here they catch up with unforgettable couples from previous seasons in the 90-Day universe, picking up where they last left off and seeing how they move forward in the next chapter of their lives together. The show starts off with Michael and Angela after finally tieing the knot in Nigeria. We got a chance to speak with Michael about the new show and life updates since we last saw him in the 90-Day universe.
The Knockturnal: You both have been on 90 Day spinoffs for years. What does Happily Ever After mean to you now in 2021?
Michael Ilesanmi: It means a lot to me because it shows how our relationship has been for the past few years and how we are coping with the negative and positive aspects of our relationship and marriage. To God be the glory.
The Knockturnal: As a couple, you have been through a lot of ups and downs. How was tying the knot in Nigeria last year, and now being married but still long distance?
Michael Ilesanmi: Tying the knot in Nigeria was needed due to the fact that I was denied the K1 in 2019 and I needed to file the spousal visa. It was important for us to do it because we really want to be together as husband and wife. It hasn’t been easy but the love we have for each other keeps us going. I believe that it will happen soon.
The Knockturnal: Any visa updates you can share?
Michael Ilesanmi: We’re still going through the process, that is all I can say for now.
The Knockturnal: What can you tease on Happily Ever After? Are kids in your future?
Michael Ilesanmi: I hope for the best but it’s a work in progress.
The Knockturnal: You both have become such beloved 90 Day stars. What do you want to say to fans who have watched your whole journey?
Michael Ilesanmi: Me and my wife Angie appreciate all of the fans, both the good supporters and the haters lol. Thank you all for watching and supporting us.
