In a New York minute, you will fall in love with Carnegie Diner & Cafe.
Toasting a second anniversary in the Times Square District (828 8th Avenue), merrymakers gathered on June 24 to celebrate the incredible restaurant that has buzzed with rave reviews since day one.
The day was marked with a dazzling and delicious dinner with servings as big as the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop just a few blocks away at One Times Square. Divine bites were devoured, and lavish sips were had as all in the party presentation were served up in style that Gothamites love and visitors to our fair city enjoy.
The splendid showcase of the flair bartending from Shake Sip & Fire was a fantastic cherry-like topping on the special event that gave guests the grand opportunity to experience the diner’s signature dishes and drinks.
Since opening its doors in 2023, this 5,500-square-foot diner has earned a loyal following for its modern take on the American diner experience, serving up all-day breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner in a stylish yet comfortable setting.
Founded by Executive Chef and Owner Stathis Antonakopoulos, Carnegie Diner & Cafe is known for its stacked pancakes, oversized burgers and sandwiches, ribeye steaks, over-the-top milkshakes, 24 24-layer chocolate Cake, and bottomless Lavazza coffee. It was also the first diner in the U.S. to introduce a full plant-based menu, offering everything from Impossible Burgers to Vegan Souvlaki Platters.
Food arrives at your table hot and fresh on plates that are stacked with scrumptious delights. The entire table bites in unison to be taken on a euphoric journey to the food cosmos that is shining bright and bold in your mouth. From creative burgers to mind-blowing chocolate cakes, there is something for everyone. The culinary fun gets even better with the discovery of an amazing full bar with drinks to wet your whistle perfectly.
There is even the BEST THEATER MENU in town for those coming to see a Broadway show. For an incredible price, you get a selection of an appetizer and entrée that will keep your belly full at your Great White Way show all night long.
It is even more satisfying being here when you are treated to wonderful service. The hospitality of Carnegie Diner & Cafe deserves the same level of loud applause you might clap out nearby for a stage. You will love your server as much as the food.
The entire experience creates a beautiful memory. It is no wonder that the success of the place is notable and newsworthy. As it marks this exciting milestone, the brand is looking ahead to its next chapter with the opening of a brand-new location next month at the corner of West 47th Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan’s Diamond District. The new outpost will bring Carnegie’s signature comfort food, spacious booth seating, and warm hospitality to another bustling Midtown corner, further solidifying its place in the fabric of New York City dining.
Carnegie Diner & Cafe is open seven days a week from 7 am to 1 am and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. For menus and more, visit www.carnegiediner.com or follow @carnegiediner on social media.
